USAID, under its small grants division, has provided funds for the proposal of an ‘Engro Reading Program’ at our 13 adopted schools in Deharki and Qadirpur over the span of 18 months. Program beneficiaries include 1300+ students, in addition to 10 adult literacy classes which will cater to 200 women, to improve quality of education and reading outcomes in the 3 languages of Sindhi, Urdu, and English. The program features Information Communication Technology (ICT) with computers placed in each school and learning resource centers, all in all furthering capacity building of communities as a whole in our neighboring value chain.
